It is open-source software, issued under the terms of GNU General Public Licence. Greenstone is a suite of software for building and distributing digital library collections. It can be used for organising and publishing information on the Internet or on CD-ROM. Schools/teachers can use greenstone to build a digital library of past examination papers or question bank. Greenstone is available for both Windows and Linux platforms.
